Day 01:  Travel From Chandigarh to Narkanda

After you arrive at the Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, our representative will drive you to Narkanda (8 hours). The journey begins here and you get to visit some beautiful villages along the way such as Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and the Apple orchards around the region. Upon reaching, check into your hotel in Narkanda and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 02:  Travel from Narkanda to Sangla via Sarahan

After having breakfast, proceed for Kinnaur Sangla via Sarahan, popularly known as the gateway to Kinnaur Valley with our Kinnaur taxi service. You will then visit the Hattu Peak which provides a serene view of the Himalayas. Following this, you proceed onto visiting the famous attractions of the area including a traditional wooden carved temple of Goddess Kali, the oldest Mahal of King of Himachal, Hawa Mahal, and the famous Cricket Ground. You will then move onto Sangla Valley and have an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 03:  Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley

The next day, you leave for a sightseeing trip to Chitkul Sangla Valley. Kamru Valley is the first stop followed by visiting the Kamru Fort and the famous temple of Goddess Kamaksha Devi. You then move onto the village Sangla where you can spend time exploring the architecture and beauty of the area, along with spending time with the local people who are known for their hospitality and simple living. This place, along with the nearby Chitkul village, is a perfect place for unwinding and relaxing in the lap of nature. After a day of exploring nature, have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04:  Travel from Sangla to Kalpa

After breakfast, head towards Kalpa Village (40 km, 2,759 meters / 9,048 feet) which is around 2-3 hours drive away from the Sangla Valley. You can explore the local attractions along the way such as visiting Recongpeo, having a delectable lunch at a local restaurant, and enjoying the mesmerizing view of nature. At the Kalpa and Roghi village, you will get a mesmerizing view of the lofty Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain. Here, you can also get a taste of some delicious apples and apricots that are grown locally and are a specialty in the area. Check into the hotel at Kalpa Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Travel from Kalpa to Tabo 

The next day, continue your journey towards Tabo (190 km, 3,050 meters / 10010 feet). It would take you about 9-10 hours to reach Tabo and on the journey, you can explore the beautiful villages of Puh, Nako, and Gue. The special fact about Gue is that it is the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border and houses a naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist Monk which is about 600 years old. After exploring these attractions and reaching Tabo, you can check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Travel from Tabo to Kaza

Post breakfast; step out to visit the oldest monastery of the Himalayas, the Tabo monastery. Then, leave for Kaza (3,200 metres / 10,500 feet) and on the way, visit the Dhankar monastery and Fort in the Dhankar village. You can have some lunch or cup of tea with a local family of the village to learn more about their culture. After exploring the area, you will reach Kaza in about 3 hours and check into your hotel.

Day 07:  Sightseeing in Kaza

After breakfast, visit the Lagnza village where you can explore the monastery which is located at the top of the village, visit the local market, and learn more about the culture by interacting with the local people. You can also drive towards Hikkim, the highest located village in the world, if the weather is suitable. You can then continue your exploration by visiting the Kibber village and Kee Monastery. The nature lovers can take a leisurely stroll around the area to take in the beauty and serene weather of the beautiful region. To complete your experience of the authentic Tibetan culture, dine at a local restaurant which offers some delicious and traditional Tibetan and Indian delicacies. You can end the day in the evening with an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Travel from Kaza to Chandertal Lake

The next day, leave for Chandertal Lake from Kaza. On the way, you’ll pass through Kunzum Pass and Baltal where you will experience the serene view of the mountain ranges. After reaching Chandertal Lake, you can spend the day relaxing beside the mesmerizing lake amidst stunning surroundings of nature. You can spend the night at a camp at Chandertal Lake which offers a serene view of the lake amidst mountains.

Day 09: Travel from Chandertal to Manali

On the 9th day, have breakfast at the Chandertal Lake camp and start your returning journey towards Manali (100 km, 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet) by 6:30 am. On the way, you’ll cross two famous mountain passes, the Kunzum pass and Rohtang Pass. You can also visit the temple on the way and enjoy the serene view of CB ranges and Glaciers. You will reach Manali in the evening and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10:  Travel from Manali to Chandigarh

After having breakfast, leave for Chandigarh (310 km, 9-10 hours) via Kullu, Aut, Hanogi devi temple, and Pandoh Dam. After visiting these places on the way, you will reach Delhi by the evening where your tour ends.
